Our Mission
Since the advent of modern international tourism as we know it, Ireland has become a destination for wanderlust people seeking to trace their ancestors and make connections with their roots. Many historical sites, including the Kenmare Stone Circle, were inaccessible to the general public and the increased volume of international visitors to Ireland. In their quest for discovering more about Ireland’s ancient history, visitors to Kenmare sought to visit the Stone Circle. This led to the development of safe and easy access to the site, with ongoing improvements down through the years, now including car & bus parking facilities and wheelchair access.
We are very grateful for all those who visit the site and who through their appreciation of the mystery of the Stone Circle, contribute to the preservation and maintenance of this unique part of ancient Irish history.
